scents emanating from the covered stalls selling leatherwork in Morocco. This was Serge Lutens’ first unisex perfume, the olfactory revolution of the 1990s!

1992: While the worldwide perfume industry lacked identity and suffocated under gendered definitions, "for men" or "for women". Serge Lutens laid the foundations for his own take on perfumery by creating Féminité du bois ...

A manifesto embracing both the feminine and the masculine in us! Its launch heralded a milestone that unveiled Serge Lutens as the pioneer in this new chapter in perfumery, which others now refer to as the ‘niche’.

With "Féminité du bois" a page was turned...  however, the story still continues.... right on your skin!
